Bon dia, Barcelona!
It's a long weekend: Friday is Día del Trabajador, so you've got three full days ahead.
The big anchor: Croiss&Fest at Poble Espanyol. Ten of Barcelona's top pastry shops compete for Best Croissant in the City, with tastings, live music, DJ sets, and street food across the weekend. Kids can roll their own dough at the Little Chefs workshop while you work your way through the contenders. Mornings are calmest; afternoons turn into a party. Sunday may be a bit wet, so plan well.
Here's the lineup.

The Rabbit Hole
There's a miniature train in the hills above Sarrià, and a guy in a conductor's hat will let your kid ride it for €3
Up behind Sarrià, you’ll find Tren de l'Oreneta, where a club of retired train enthusiasts spends Sunday mornings running a miniature railway they built themselves. The track loops through the pines, and the kids can actually ride the scaled-down steam and diesel models. Trains run Sundays 10:30–13:30, weather permitting. Take the Ferrocarril to Reina Elisenda and hike ten minutes uphill (the bottom of the park is closed, but the trains are still running!). Worth the climb.
